NEW YEAR… NEW PUPS
The very long wait will soon be over for the new owners of our Entlebucher Mountain Dogs.
They waited over a year just to get ON the waiting list for puppies - because the breed is so rare in the UK. (When the five gorgeous youngsters arrived, they brought the UK population of the breed up to just 34!)
Since then, the selected owners have had a unique opportunity to watch them grow and develop by tuning in to puppycam LIVE! But around January 11th, the pups will finally be old enough join them in the flesh.
The litter have been a huge success on Puppycam, attracting thousands of viewers from all over the world - especially in the breed’s native Switzerland. Rosemary Kind, whose Entlebucher Shadow gave birth to the pups, is the chair of the Entlebucher Mountain Dog Club of Great Britain. She’s an enthusiastic promoter of the breed and is already planning another litter for her other Entlebucher, Megan, in the Spring.
We’d like to thank Rosemary and the Club for allowing so many of our viewers to discover this fascinating rare breed - and wish the pups well with their new owners.
